DePaul's Black Law Student Association (BLSA) Mock Trial team and their coach, Professor Cynthia Roseberry, placed first in the Midwest Region Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, held in St. Louis, MO., this past January. Sponsored by the National Association of Black Law Students,the TMMTC is among the largest and most prestigious Mock Trial Competitions in the country. The team will compete at the national competition to be held March 18-21, 2009 in Irvine, California.
