The Center for Public Interest Law (CPIL) and the student-run Public Interest Law Association (PILA) handed out dozens of scholarship awards this summer. These grants allowed students to pursue public interest positions that are often unpaid. Students are working across the country at public defender offices, legal aid organizations, and other non-profit and governmental organizations.
